HOME BATTERIES
Stored energy.
More possibilities.
A home battery stores electricity for later. Your goals, your home and your rate plan shape the right system.

FOX ESS POWERQ
Meet your
energy storage.
PowerQ combines an inverter with modular battery storage in an integrated residential system. The exact inverter and battery configuration determines outage capability. A specialist will confirm the equipment and installation requirements for your home.
Discuss PowerQ for your homeBACKUP POWER
Start with your essentials.
Think about what you want to keep running: lighting, refrigeration, internet or other important household equipment. These are discussion points, not a promise that every load will be supported.
Battery capacity, power output, starting loads and installation design determine what can be backed up and for how long. Your specialist can assess selected circuits or broader backup needs.

FOX HUB G2
A connected
energy system.
FOX HUB G2 coordinates compatible Fox ESS equipment and supported circuits. Its functions include grid isolation and smart load shedding. Your proposal should confirm how the panel, inverter and battery work together for your home.

EVERYDAY ENERGY
Lower-rate hours.
Later-use power.
On a suitable time-of-use plan, a battery can store grid electricity when rates are lower and supply stored electricity when rates are higher.
The value depends on your rate plan, usage, available capacity and battery losses. Equipment and installation costs also matter; savings and payback are not guaranteed.
Solar panels are not required for a battery system. Ask a specialist to confirm suitability for your home.
UNDERSTAND THE COMPONENTS
A system is more than a battery.
Battery storage
Stores energy for later use. Usable capacity and operating limits need to be confirmed for the proposed configuration.
Inverter
Converts electricity between the battery and the home. Its output and compatibility affect which loads can be supported.
Backup controls
Compatible switching and control equipment manages the transition and supported loads. FOX HUB G2 is a control panel, not additional battery capacity.
Monitoring
Ask which app or portal applies to the exact equipment, what it displays and what access is included at handover.
Match the model to the property.
Your proposal should identify exact model numbers, compatible components and the installation location. PowerQ configurations differ in storage and output, so the family name alone does not tell you which appliances can run together.
For a Canadian property, ask for the relevant regional documents and confirmation of local suitability. Charging limits, outdoor placement and temperature-related changes in performance should be assessed for your location.
Compare the complete proposal.
Ask about usable storage, backup output, supported loads, temperature limits, warranty terms and the scope of installation. A capacity number does not tell you everything about backup performance, and a headline efficiency figure is not a household savings forecast.
