PowerQ: integrated storage and inverter.

PowerQ combines modular battery storage and an inverter. Its backup capability depends on both parts: a larger inverter nameplate alone does not establish the output available from every battery configuration.

The US PowerQ datasheet lists different inverter and battery combinations. Ask which exact combination is proposed, its usable storage, backup output and the loads it supports. Outdoor enclosure ratings do not remove the need to assess location, clearances and temperature.

The associated EQ4000 datasheet describes the AIO battery family. Nominal capacity and depth of discharge are specification terms, not a guarantee of energy delivered to household appliances.

PowerQ manuals & quick-install guides.

Choose the documents matching your proposed system. These are US-series documents; your installer should confirm the revision and Canadian installation requirements. The with-Hub manual covers the complete system, rather than the Hub alone.

The manuals explain configuration and operation. For specifications, ask for the current documents matching the supplied hardware; the manuals above predate the linked 2025 datasheets.

FOX HUB G2: backup coordination.

FOX HUB G2 manages compatible equipment and circuits. Manufacturer-described functions include automatic grid isolation and smart load shedding, which can help manage supported loads during backup.

The panel's electrical rating is not the battery's output or stored capacity. Your installer should confirm the complete design, compatible inverter and battery models, and which circuits are included. Generator integration is a configuration question to discuss if relevant to your property.

What do the manuals mean for your home?

Which circuits stay on during an outage?

Selected-circuit and broader backup are different designs. In a partial-backup design, circuits outside the backup arrangement remain unpowered during an outage. Your proposal should identify which loads are included. The PowerQ without-Hub manual V1.0b, section 2.3, describes these design approaches.

Can I monitor the system remotely?

The PowerQ without-Hub manual V1.0b, section 5, describes real-time remote monitoring. Confirm the app, connection requirements and access provided with your equipment at handover.

Can loads follow a schedule or battery-charge level?

The PowerQ with-Hub manual V1.0a, sections 2.3 and 2.5, describes smart-load scheduling and battery-charge thresholds. Ask your installer which controls apply to your design and how they balance daily use with backup reserve.

Where can the equipment be installed?

Location affects ventilation, service access and exposure. The PowerQ without-Hub manual V1.0b, sections 1.3.4 and 2.2.1, sets siting requirements and excludes living spaces. Have the installer assess a suitable location against the exact equipment instructions and local requirements.

Can a generator be part of the system?

Some designs support a compatible standby generator. This is not universal generator compatibility: ask for confirmation of the generator, controls and battery arrangement. The PowerQ with-Hub manual V1.0a, sections 2.3–2.4, describes the system arrangements and battery requirement for off-grid operation.

Use documents for the exact equipment.

These manufacturer documents identify US product versions. Ask the team to confirm the applicable models and documents for your Canadian installation. A global product page or a document for another battery family does not establish compatibility or local approval.

Have qualified installation partners review the technical requirements. Use the documents to understand your proposal and prepare questions; they are not a substitute for professional electrical work.

Manufacturer warranty terms apply. Request the applicable warranty document and written confirmation of coverage with your quote, including any monitoring, operating or registration requirements.

For a proposal identifying CQ7-US, use its own documents and confirm the hardware revision and inverter compatibility. Heating applies to warm-up versions, rather than every CQ7-US battery.

These references describe a separate product family, not a substitute for the PowerQ documents or a recommended homeowner package.
